| At present, the development of millimeter-wave communication is more and more rapid, many communication equipment manufacturers have designed micro-base station antennas applied to the millimeter wave band,it was obtained a series of results in the field test.Based on the performance index of the macro base station antenna and the research on the millimeter wave antenna. This thesis studies and designs the millimeter-wave micro base station antenna used in the fifth generation of mobile communication. The antenna can better meet the micro base station antenna performance index. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1.The millimeter-wave micro base station antenna loaded with a metal copper pillar structure was proposed. It consists of orthogonal radiation patch with U-shaped slots, differential feed micro-strip,metallic cylinders, coaxial feed metallic and a dielectric substrate.Through the simulation and optimization of the differential feed structure,the180~o differential feed of the port can be realized,a wider frequency band can be realized. The relative bandwidth is 24.1%(26.6GHz-33.9GHz),the port isolation is 20dB,the average gain is 6.9dBi,and the cross polarization is 17dB.By changing the current intensity at the antenna surface, the antenna radiation pattern performance and impedance are improved bandwidth. The measured results show that the VSWR<2 of the antenna is in the working frequency band(26.1GHz-29.1GHz),and the port isolation is better than23dB,which meets the requirements of the micro-base station antenna.2.The millimeter-wave micro base station antenna with a short-circuit probe structure was designed. It used a microstrip differential feed to achieve the output port phase difference. In combination with the load probe, the patch is connected to the ground to achieve impedance matching.purpose.The relative bandwidth of the antenna is13.6%(28.6GHz-32.8GHz),and the port isolation is higher than 26dB in the entire frequency band, which can meet the requirements of design specifications. Finally, the micro base station antenna loaded with a metal copper pillar structure is subjected to machining tests.3.It is used as a unit millimeter-wave micro base station antenna loaded with a metal copper pillar structure,an eight-cell array antenna was studied and designed,it optimized the array spacing to obtain the best beam. This provides a reference for beamforming. The antenna can well meet the designed working bandwidth(26.5GHz-30.5GHz),and the degree of coupling between antenna elements is 25dB,the isolation between polarization ports is 25dB,and the voltage standing wave ratio is less than 1.5.Stable pattern characteristics and cross polarization. The antenna performance meets the design requirements and provides a design reference for large-scale antenna arrays. In summary, the millimeter-wave micro base station antenna designed in this thesis has characteristics such as wide frequency and stable pattern, which can meet the application requirements of next-generation mobile communications. |
