In the early stage,the technology that many LCD companies applied to developing touch panel can be roughly classified into three categories: optical(Photo Sensing),capacitive(Charge Sensing)and Energized(Voltage Sensing),but in fact most of these three technologies can not mass production.Projected capacitive technology has replaced the original resistive technology,and become the mainstream since it was applied on iPhone,2007.Currently,the placement of sensor(ie electrodes)in projected capacitive technology are quite different,and it can be divided into In-cell and On-cell.2012,Control chip manufacturers developed the single-layer multi-point graph.It requires only a single light-mask,compared with the single-plane graph,and do not need insulation bridge.Originally purpose of developing single-layer multi-point graph is to improve the material costs of GFF structure,in addition to saving a ITO film,it can also save optical adhesive between the two pieces of film,so it began to be used in the on-cell LCD.When the single-layer multi-point graph technology used in panel plant,the yield of embedded touch panel is higher than before,since only a single mask was necessary.Moreover,panel makers are more familiar to yellow etching process which will be helpful to the sensitivity of single-layer multi-point graph,if the width of the electrode leads truncation can be improved.Now the biggest problem of single-layer multi-point technology is the visible problem of graphics.This issue will affect the customer experience greatly,so the industry defined this product as B grade or defective products.If this problem is not solved well,the cost advantage will no longer exist.So the aim of the article is "finding a method to solve the visible problem of ITO graph in single-layer multi-point TP product manufacturing",hoping to find a better solution to improve the production yield.The article analyzes the visible reason of ITO graph of single-layer multi-point touch screen technology from the process aspect,and analyzes the visible problem of ITO graph in the process.The research traces phenomenon to process,and solves the visible problem of ITO graph ultimately by adjusting the process parameters such as film thickness,oxygen partial pressure,film forming temperature and postbake temperature.Thus improved the yield for subsequent production,and made the single-layer multi-point ITO touch screen technology more cost-competitive.
