Low noise amplifier(LNA),as an important part of wireless communication system,will have a great impact on the overall performance of RF receiver.Broadband technology has the advantages of high frequency spectrum utilization and high transmission rate,so broadband low noise amplifier has become a hot spot in the research of wireless communication technology,and broadband low noise amplifier is versatile.Low noise amplifier(LNA)is an important part of the receiver.Therefore,the study of low power LNA is of great significance.SOI technology has the advantages of faster speed,less power consumption,higher integration density and better radiation resistance than traditional CMOS technology.Therefore,the research of wideband low power low noise amplifier based on SOI CMOS technology has good engineering background and application value.In this thesis,a low power low noise amplifier(Low Noise Amplifier,LNA)with a working frequency of 0.3~3GHz is designed by using the technology of 0.28μm SOI CMOS.The circuit uses a capacitive cross coupled common-gate to common-gate structure to achieve broadband input matching and improve isolation.A double capacitance cross coupling structure is used to reduce the noise coefficient and reduce power consumption,and the power consumption of the circuit is further reduced by using the current reuse technology.In this thesis,the schematic diagram,simulation results,layout design,simulation results and test results of broadband LNA are given respectively.The test results show that the working current of the core circuit is 2.4mA when the power supply voltage is 2.5V,and the input and output matching is less than-10 dB in the working frequency of 0.3~3GHz;the noise coefficient(adding buffer circuit)is 3.82~4.78 dB and the power gain is about 8.2~10.7dB;the input 1dB compression point is about-8.2dBm at the central frequency 1.65 Gz.The broadband and low power LNA designed in this thesis has excellent performance and can be widely used in the narrowband or broadband wireless communication system in the range of 0.3~3GHz.
