Research And Implementation Of Public WiFi Security Detection Technology

At present,the public WiFi,as one of the significant development signs of "smart city",is being massively promoted to deploy by government and businesses in public places.With its rapid potential development,people 's needs of practicality and convenience for Internet are met constantly.But at the same time,many safety issues are also highlighted in public WiFi.With the continuous improvement of security standards,authentication and encryption technology of public WiFi,its security performance is gradually enhanced.However,wireless network has the characteristics with signal being radiant and channel being open,which will inevitably produce various unsafe factors,such as the fake access point attack,ARP attack and the DoS attack against wireless network cards and routers,and make the stability of network and the security of user information are threatened by these attacks.Therefore,with the increasing security awareness of the public,the security of public WiFi is also facing more and more severe test.The security mechanism of public WiFi is introduced in this paper,the main security threats faced by current public WiFi and basic principles are analyzed,and the development trend of the existing security detection technology of public WiFi is studied.At the same time,starting from the convenience and practical detection effect,a set of security detection system which can run in the mobile terminal,easy to carry and can visually display security detection results of public WiFi hotspots,has been designed and implemented.Including the basic functions such as WiFi scanning and speed measurement,the system focus on the design and implementation of ARP attack detection and fake access point attack detection.The system has simple interface,and is easy to use.Showed with a series of test and evaluation,It can achieve rapidly the security performance detection of public WiFi hotspots.The system has achieved the original design purpose,and met the actual application needs,and also,has certain application value to detect and prevent security problems of public WiFi.
