With the fifth generation of mobile communication standards gradually surfaced,the operating band has a trend of high frequency and millimeter wave.As key components of transmitting and receiving information in communication systems,antennas are also developing for features of miniaturization,reconfigurability,multi-band and multi-polarization.The traditional antenna design / integration method that uses multiple single-band antennas simultaneously to meet the requirements of multi-band communication will not only bring about an increase in the overall system size,power consumption and complexity,but also increase the cost,thereby reducing the final competition of the product.In addition,the mutual coupling between antennas becomes complicated with the increase of the number of antennas,which increases the overall optimization difficulty of the antenna subsystem,but the design of single antenna with multi-band operating characteristics becomes one of an effective means to solve these problems.The thesis takes the millimeter-wave wireless communication application in the 5G standard as the research background and takes the multi-band resonant slot array antenna as the main research target.The new substrate integrated technology is used as a technical means to design the plane slot array antenna at the 24/34 GHz band.The specific research content includes the following two aspects:1.For the first time,a resonant transverse slot array antenna based on substrate integrated coaxial technology is proposed.The antenna operates at 34 GHz,the radiating element of which employs a resonant transverse slot,and the feeding network adopts a Chebyshev amplitude distribution.The antenna has low side lobe level both in the E and the H planes.The innovation of this work is that the problem has been solved,that is the guided-wavelength is larger than the free space wavelength in the waveguide structure which leads to the generation of grating lobes so that the transverse slot waveguide antenna is difficult to realize.The test results of the antenna sanples are in good agreement with the simulation data,which verifies the correctness of the design method and the feasibility of the implementation method.2.Based on the above-mentioned resonant transverse slot antenna array,a dual-band dualpolarization slot array antenna based on substrate integrated coaxial line technology is proposed for the first time.The antenna is composed of two sets of longitudinal / transverse slot linear arrays working at different band with orthogonal polarizations,which are combined by means of a feeding network with the same phase but taper amplitude distribution.Electrical characteristics of low sidelobe,high polarization isolation and high port isolation have been realized in this design.The simulation results of the design scheme are in good agreement with the sample test data,which verifies the correctness of the research ideas and the feasibility of the way to implementation.
