With the development of virtual/augmented reality technology, the application of virtual reality technology to improve the immersion and interaction of cultural relics display,so that cultural relics can truly "live" has become a hot topic in recent years.Aiming at the demand of digital display of museum cultural relics, this paper proposes a scene generation algorithm to construct virtual scenes by using the framework of mixed reality technology, and constructs a scene detection method based on three-dimensional laser scanning to realize the pre-perception of large-scale areas of mixed reality devices.A new interaction method based on pathfinding algorithm is proposed, which can conveniently manipulate objects in large scenes and different perspectives.A mixed reality display prototype system for cultural relics display is designed and implemented, and applied to the virtual display of the Terracotta foreigner in Qian ling. The main research work of this paper includes: First,A large-scale scene sensing method for mixed reality is proposed.Aiming at the problem that the mixed reality system has small sensing range and poor accuracy,a scene point cloud is constructed by pre-scan the real scene with three-dimensional laser scanner. In the process of displaying mixed reality, the small-scale scanning model and the three-dimensional scanning point cloud are registered, and the mixed reality equipment is pre-positioned in the large-scale scene to realize the pre-high-precision perception of the large-scale area,so as to provide support for object virtual and interactive.Second,A virtual object interaction method based on path-finding algorithm is proposed.Aiming at the need of displacement interaction of virtual objects in the scene,a scene plane map is constructed based on three-dimensional scanning point cloud of the scene. With the feature of automatic navigation of the path-finding algorithm,a path-finding function is added to the objects in mixed reality. When using the mixed reality device to turn the perspective to another perspective, click on the object in the previous perspective, and then click on the position in the current perspective, the object that disappeared in the previous perspective can be re-placed in the current perspective.Third,A prototype system of virtual display of cultural relics based on mixed reality is implemented.Aiming at the requirement of virtual display of Terracotta foreigner in Qian ling,a prototype system of virtual exhibition hall for cultural relics based on mixed reality is designed and implemented.Scanning the real scene with three-dimensional laser scanner, processing and registration the obtained scene point clouds, building a virtual exhibition hall, which can build a complete virtual exhibition hall and provide pre-perception of a wide range of areas in the scanning process of mixed reality equipment;adding common interactive means to objects in the virtual exhibition hall-Gaze,Gesture and Voice. In order to facilitate the manipulation of changing the perspective,a path search algorithm based on interaction method is specially designed for objects, which can easily move objects to different perspectives. The system is applied to the display process of Terracotta foreigner in Qian ling with good results. This research is supported by the national key research and development project "Demonstration of the application of cultural relics in the digitalization of ethnic folk cultural resources and the combination of virtual and real".
