With the development of internet technology and mobile technology,online tourism industry is now in the stage of consumption upgrading.Leisure tourism has become more mature,as a result,it forms a new tour model-30% of tourismers go tourisming by joining the tourism team while 70% of tourismers by themselves.The 90s' generation has become the major consumer group of self-tour who hold the world view that no one can know the world if one doesn't tourism around the world.Therefore,the traditional way of tourism service is unable to fulfill their ever-changing demands,the social tourism application which seize the characteristics of this group is now becoming the trend of online tourism.Barrage is one of the social culture which is popular in 90s',this culture originated from Japan niconico animation website and became a new way of socializing for 90s' in China.Barrage is gradually becoming the mainstream cultural from subculture owing to young people's interest in “Otaku” culture and recognition and promotion by mainstream video sites.Thus,the author does a research on mobile social tourism application based on “Use and Gratification ” theory to attempt to provide a better mobile tourism social application for young users.This paper is made up of tourism industry background analysis,literature research,user needs research,functional framework design,interactive design practice,prototype design.Firstly,the paper outline the barrage and the development of online tourism UGC community through literature research;Secondly,the research make an analysis of user data through user interviews and questionnaire survey,set the target group's characteristics and build the character models;Next by making the scenario analysis and creating user experiences maps,we figure out user's pain point and opportunity according to user's behavior and mood swing in different stage,so as to create product functional frame which may give user good experience.Finally,after the process of interaction design,visual design,the research design a social tourism application called “biu” which can match the user's mental model.
