Research On The Effect Of Critial Risk Factors On Software Development Project Performance In Company H

With the rapid development of the information technology,the modern enterprises widely apply to information technology in their daily operation and management.The software projects as the main form in the field of information technology applications,show the characteristics of information intensive and technology complexity.These characteristics make high uncertainty and high risks in whole process.The risk factors have critical effect on the success of software development project.It will be better to reduce the failures of software development project through implementing effective risk management based on identifying and analyzing the risks.This dissertation studied on how the critical risk factors affect the software project performance,and provided the theory support on optimization of risk management measures.The dissertation analyzed risk identification theories and software project performance measurement theories,then summed up ten risk factors in software development project and proposed evaluation indexes of software development project.The research of the effect of risk factors on project performance included three sections: firstly we determined four major risk factors for software development project in H Company by using the method of questionnaire and G1 weighting method.Secondly we constructed the model of the key risk factors through analyzing the effect of risk factors on software development project performance.Thirdly we conducted a questionnaire survey and verified the hypotheses and model by empirical study.The results show that request risk,team risk,organizational management risk and planning and controlling risk have significant influence on software project performance.Organizational management risk has significant influence on system function completion degree,system stability degree,user satisfaction degree.Planning and controlling risk has significant influence on project cost,project schedule,system function completion degree and user satisfaction degree.According to the conclusions,this dissertation proposed feasible suggestions and measures to deal with critical risk factors.They have certain reference significance on reducing the risks of project in company and improving project completion rate.
