| The fivth generation mobile communication(5G)is one of the most hottest topic in current network construction and deployment,which is widely accepted as the fundamental for future network services and applications.China Tower is a leading communication infrastructure service provider responsible for the building and operation of outdoor base stations and indoor distribution systems.In the current transition period of network construction from the fourth generation mobile communications(4G)to 5G,it has been an urgent chanlleg for telecommunications industry to coordinate the base station construction requirements,scientific arrangement of supporting facilities,reducing redundant construction,and improving investment efficiency,respectively.This thesis presents a comprehensive research on 5G oriented network planning and implementation strategy based on actual China Tower projects.Fistly,a brief introduction of 5G history and China Tower is given.Some key technologies of 5G are discussed in detail including full spectrum access,ultra dense networking,advanced multiple access/carrier/coding,etc.The traditional outdoor base station construction modes are analyzed in detail.Through the analysis of 5G technology characteristics and base station deployment methods,the impact of 5G network deployment on China Tower network is deeply studied,and the 5G oriented base station construction deployment strategies are proposed.The proposing strategies in the thesis have been implemented through actual engineering and achieved good construction results. |
