| With the continuously deepening reform of China's higher educational system,our country has been paying increasing attention to creative and practical talents.On account of the growing proportion of practice teaching,the laboratories of colleges and universities are irreplaceable as bases of personnel training,discipline construction and science studies.At present,comprehensive supervision is strenuous owing to a mass of problems.For instance,careless management of various laboratory equipment may result in discrepancy of account and disorder of labels.In additional,the processes,such as application,purchase and inspection of the equipment when enter or exit the laboratories,are extremely complex.What's more,the management and maintenance of instruments are arduous due to the lack of management measures and mobility of staff.Thus,how to establish an information management system with multiple main features,such as powerful functions,remarkable reliability and striking efficiency etc.,has been one of the most important projects for laboratory managers.University Laboratory Information Management System(ULIMS)based on Redis distributed caching technology,is an information managing system with scientific management thought and advancing informationized technology used for scientific research and experiment teaching.It applies brand-new caching technology and the third party ORM development frameworks to manage and utilize various equipment and relevant information efficiently.This system possesses the traits of simple operation,high throughput,strong safety,rapid response and powerful concurrent processing capability.Meanwhile,the distributed cache and database read-write separation technology provide the system with excellent extensibility and flexibility.ULIMS can improve work efficiency of laboratory effectively,promote the utilization of the laboratory information resource,and alsocan provide accurate basis and credible information support for educational administrators to make decision.This article is based on the intensive domestic and foreign studies of ULIMS and Redis caching technique.From the perspective of application system,this study applies Redis distributed caching technology and the third party ORM development frameworks to solve the performance bottleneck of the domestic similar information management system when facing dramatically increasing users and solve the difficulties of storage and access of data when business data changes frequently,result in a superior elasticity and expandability of the system.By using RFID and short distance wireless communication technology,ULIMS realizes the real-time monitoring and warning for storage of dangerous item.Moreover,the research simplifies the complicated engine design via the lightweight workflow engine design method.Finally,the ULIMS is more competitive than similar domestic ULIMS products,which maximizes social benefit and economic benefit.From August 2013 when the project started to the end of 2015,we had published two business function models(safety education examination model and dangerous item management model)and three basic function model(authority management model,workflow management model and information publishing management model).The system obtained outstanding achievement after applied online.After using the safety education and examination model,the passing rate of safety examination had been improved by 20.1%.At the same time,the model of dangerous item management had greatly enhanced the automatic management of laboratory.According to the thought of software engineering design,this article states the system research background and significance,current domestic and overseas situation,the related technique of system design,the requirement analysis of system,design and realization method of system and the system test and result analysis.At the same time,the article also summarizes the current design work and forecasts further research. |
