Information hiding algorithms hidden confidential information into the trusted carrier files,then transmit the files between sender and receiver,and the confidential information is hard to be found and extracted by an attacker.This provides new opportunities for the development of information security,but also brings new challenges.With the development of science and technology,digital video is appearing more and more in people's daily work and life scene.At present,the technology of steganography and steganalysis on digital image has been developed,the researchers have achieved good research findings.But digital video has more and more complex data structures than digital images,many techniques of steganography and steganalysis in the fields of digital image are not well applied in the field of digital video.Therefore,the research of steganography and steganalysis for digital video has become very urgent.This thesis reviews the principle of coding and decoding of digital video files,and the classification of the existing video steganography and steganalysis techniques and their problems are summarized.Then,the research on these problems and the experimental verification is carried out.After all,a better steganalysis algorithm and a steganography algorithm with stronger ability to resist steganalysis are proposed and implemented.The main research work and innovation of this thesis include: 1)The coding process of H.264/AVC standard video is studied,and the existing algorithms of video steganography and steganalysis and their evaluation criteria are combed.2)To solve this problem that the existing steganalysis algorithms which based on motion vector temporal-spatial correlation features can not detect video steganography algorithms which use video sequences with complex motions as carriers effectively,a video steganalysis algorithm based on motion vectors and motion vector difference features is proposed.3)Steganography algorithms based on motion vectors usually damage of their temporal-spatial correlations,as a result,these algorithms can be easily detected by steganalysis algorithms based on motion vector temporal-spatial correlations.To solve this problem,a video steganography algorithm that combines matrix coding and can resist those steganalysis algorithms based on temporal-spatial correlations of motion vectors is proposed.4)Based on the JM video codec architecture,a system consisting of carrier quality analysis,confidential information preprocessing,confidential information embedding and extracting functions is implemented using the C language.Experiments show that,the proposed video steganalysis algorithm based on video motion information has a better detection effect for video steganography algorithm using motion vector as the carrier.The video steganography system based on motion vector difference implemented in this thesis can well complete the embedding and extraction of confidential information,had good invisibility,and could better resist steganalysis algorithms based on motion vector temporal-spatial correlations.
