| GPS enabled taxis provide us not only their locations and passenger status information in real-time,but also historical digital traces which could enable innovative services such as smart taxi dispatching, anomalous taxi detection, urban hotspots discovery, bus planning, and so on.Even though researchers have developed algorithms and systems in previous work targeting specific applications, there is no study on a general service framework that can integrate a scalable set of smart taxi services.Firstly,In this thesis a detailed needs analysis of potential users were conducted, and we defined taxi-related services as fully as possible.by identifying the potential services and applications in the previous research,we proposed an integrated OSGi-based Smart Taxi Service Platform for taxi passengers, drivers, operators as well as the urban planners.Secondly, the paper described in detail the processing of the rawGPSdata.RawGPSdata logging may appear incorrect or missing, and the raw data may not be able to directly meet the needs of some research work. Thus,GPSdata processing is important and necessary. At last,by leveraging the component-based architecture of OSGi service framework, the proposed taxi service platform is highly scalable and reusable. We used the taxi fraud detection service as an example to show the reusability of the software components in the service platform,we further evaluated the system performance and response time using a large set of taxiGPSlogs and verified the effectiveness of the platform. The verification results show that the system can receiveGPSdata from the amount of 200,000 taxis, and the response time of the system is much lower than the sampling frequency. This prove the performance of smart taxi system can meet the requirements of the cars in a city. |
