The development of information,digital and intelligent era has brought people a convenient life.Building a smart library that is interconnected,efficient,convenient and shared has become a social necessity and an inevitable trend of development.As an important part of the public cultural service system,public libraries need to build innovative service methods and means of public libraries through smart libraries.Meeting the user's personalized knowledge acquisition needs and intelligent lending has become the focus and difficulty of the current library construction.New technologies,new methods,and new environments have injected new connotations and new kinetic energy into the library's personalized service.The library's personalized service has developed toward personalized smart services.The complexity of reader behavior data and massive collection of information resources has become a key factor restricting the effectiveness of smart services.This paper introduces the knowledge management idea by means of knowledge mining technology,and discusses the personalized intelligent service mode of public library,which has both theoretical and practical significance.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)An empirical investigation of personalized services provided by 31 provincial libraries in China.The survey results show that the personalized service process of some provincial libraries is in the transition period to personalized smart services,and the overall trend is better.Service platform applications are diversified,and service methods are characterized by intelligence,ubiquity,and humanization.Service innovations have emerged in various services,such as unified search,intelligent reference,personalized activity systems,and inductive lending.Internet loan services,etc.,are worth learning and promotion from other libraries.However,it also shows some shortcomings,such as lack of systematic construction,low level of recommendation wisdom,uneven development,and weak interaction.(2)Constructing a personalized smart service model for public libraries based on knowledge mining.Based on the theoretical and practical basis,with knowledge mining as the support of technology and ideas,the overall framework of the model is designed,and four mining methods for user explicit requirements,user behavior data,collection resources,and basic knowledge are proposed.The service characteristics and the way of knowledge mining,the sub-models are constructed from four angles,including personalized smart retrieval based on user needs,personalized smart recommendation based on user portraits,personalized smart reference centered on consulting knowledge base,and personalized and smart interaction based on user knowledge base.(3)The Zhejiang Library of China,which is representative in related research,is selected as the case study object,and its smart characteristics in personalized service,including resource organization and resource sharing,library service tends to be intelligent and Self-help,mobile services tend to be diversified and innovative.From the characteristics,the system design,service mode and specific content are elaborated.At the same time,it puts forward reasonable suggestions on the case and the common problems in the construction of personalized services in public libraries in China.
