LADARs are rich in variety,and their corresponding imaging systems are different,so there are some differences in modeling and simulation methods.Based on the working principle of direct detection of LADAR,the echo signal of non-coherent imaging LADAR is simulated.Firstly,based on the discussion of the LADAR range equation,this paper analyzes the whole process of LADAR imaging and establishes a simulation calculation link of “emissionatmosphere-target-atmosphere-receive”.The simulation calculation link clarifies the relationship between the echo signal and the laser transmitter parameters,receiver parameters,atmospheric transmission parameters and target surface characteristics,which is not only the basis of the LADAR simulation calculation,but also provides ideas for the processing of the simulation data.Secondly,a relatively efficient LADAR simulation software framework is obtained by using the GPU's stream computing model.The framework fully exposes the parallelism of the imaging LADAR simulation calculation data,greatly speeding up the simulation calculation speed.Then,the surface characteristics of the target are analyzed by using the simulated echo signal.The simulation software directly outputs the time series data of the target return signal,and the target return signal waveform can be obtained by fitting the time series data.Through the mining and processing of the target return signal,the range image,the intensity image,the 3D point cloud and the laser radar cross section of the target are obtained respectively.Finally,by discussing the intensity distribution of Gaussian beam,the influence of Gaussian beam on the intensity image of the target is analyzed,and the intensity image under the uniform incident light intensity is obtained by an "anti-Gaussian" method.
