Existing communication equipment technology is developing rapidly,and increasingly expanding is the scale of the network,not only is the data center network and enterprise scalability,but also increased requirements for high availability,so traditional technology faces new challenges,for example,management is tedious,broadband utilization,high upgrade costs and other issues.To improve system reliability and network performance,based on the relay stack function testing on single board is an effective method to solve the problem that the remote device cannot be directly connected,to meet the long distance between two devices in the actual networking environment 、 failure to stack through a direct port.The topic of this thesis comes from the the internship company where based on the relay stack function testing on single board.Mainly complete some functions and performance tests in the the project of relay stack function testing on single board.This thesis first describes the development status of virtualization technology at home and abroad.At the same time,the software testing model and software testing method are studied,preparing for the following design of test methods in accordance with this thesis,including the in the black box test method of the description which equivalence partition method、boundary value analysis method、causal diagram method,and research on system reaction time and system compatibility included in performance testing,other testing methods are also briefly introduced.Secondly,analyze the requirements of the function and performance of the single board relay stack,based on this analysis,then design test case,by considering the test object,designing test cases based on actual operation.Due to the test object described in this article,need to add some forwarding devices in the middle of the transmission,so stack port relay can be realized,device connection.The module included in the functional requirement test and analysis in this thesis has the physical connection of communication equipment 、 configuration management 、inter-board communication and message sending and receiving,at the same time,the process of selecting test methods and generating test cases is discussed when designing test cases.In addition,to ensure smooth links,testing stack link detection function,configuring the link hardware fast detection time interval,fast fault detection,link switching,and the design of the working mechanism and the way the stacking portprocesses the message are describe,message format,etc.Also includes the process of system processing version upgrade.Three modules are analyzed and design in performance requirement testing : connection switching between devices 、 stack port management、system processing capability is easy to expand.The modules of each test object are described in one-to-one correspondence which between test requirement analysis and test case design.When designing test cases,according to some existing algorithms,and combine with the test points of this article,to design the test method in accordance with this thesis.Finally,use the test cases which designed previously,and then,on the test environment,to finish functional and performance tests,to observe the test result and the conclusion,and analysis of functional and performance testing to see if they meet the expected demands of design.Test requirements and test case design in line with expected conclusions.That,among the test subjects in this article,after study and design of Software Testing-related content.and analysis different modules of functionality and performance,including test cases and implementation are complete,to achieve of design of relay stack function testing on single board.
