Research On "Secondary Injury" In The Report Of Hot Social Events

In recent years,China's social hot events continue to emerge,media attention to hot events continue to rise.In the Internet communication environment,all kinds of hot events are more likely to receive extensive attention from the media and the public,thus exerting an increasingly important influence on news events themselves and the society.Among them,the "secondary injury" problem brought by media reports frequently appears,which causes the academic circle and the public to question and criticize the media reporting behavior and its professional ethics.This paper focuses on the media's coverage of hot social events and studies the phenomenon of secondary injury.There are five parts:first,the relevant important concepts are defined;The second is to elaborate on the manifestation,harm and causes of "secondary injury" reported by hot events.Third,a more specific analysis is made on the typical case of "tenant killing girl".This paper believes that the secondary harm caused by hot events in media reports is mainly due to the lack of responsibility consciousness,professional ethics and professionalism of the media itself.Of course,the overall environment is the overall change of the media industry and the network information environment.Therefore,this paper gives some preliminary thoughts and Suggestions on how to reduce or eliminate "secondary harm" in media reports.
