Bookstore,as a significant measure adopted to nourish urban culture and construct the scholarly society,has been playing a irreplaceable role in the process of human history.When pacing into 21 century,technology innovation,especially internet-tech,involves itself into politics,economics,society and almost every respect of our daily life,making great difference than used to be.Real economy falls into unfavorable situation,while competing with fictitious economy during their original encounter.Substance bookstores,as part of it,face the same dilemma.In recent years,bookstores around globe have made their effort to improve the situation,such as Niaowu Bookstore,,in Japan,transforms its mono business into multibusiness,creating a model for the rest.Domestic bookstores,such as Zhongshuge or Yanyouji,begins their new route through rebuilding the scene,enhancing the experiences and creating cultural atmosphere.Another sample,Ten O 'clock Bookstore,in Xiamen,hitches a ride on internet-tech,accumulating its customers from on line for few years before leading them into substance.Furthermore,policies that carried out to assist substance bookstores start to show their power since 2016.Standing on the foothold of establishing a bookstore around Jiujiang universities,this dissertation attempts to figure out the current situation of bookstores,together with their influencing factors.Through market investigation,so as analyzing target consumer groups,author believes that only by market differentiation strategy,specifically by taking full advantages of internet-tech,combining with new retail strategy,and digging out local cultural elements,melting which into the marketing strategies,could it make its distinction from the market,serve to propel the local cultural prosperity and paving its way to become a urban cultural icon.
