In recent years,with the development of social economy,China's civil aviation industry has also shown a great development trend,and bird strikes have appeared more and more frequently in China's civil aviation field.Therefore,real-time monitoring and forecasting of airport birds is very important.Bird-seeking radar can be free from light and achieve 24-hour uninterrupted work.Therefore,the use of radar to explore birds is becoming an important means of detecting birds at airports.The research focus of this paper is based on the realization of airport bird radar signal processing based on multi-core DSP.The sawtooth linear chirp continuous wave system is used.Combined with the actual engineering application background,the overall signal processing scheme of the bird radar is given.The program's multi-core DSP software design,optimization and functional verification.Firstly,the system structure and detection principle of sawtooth linear chirped continuous wave radar are described.The baseband beat signal model is given,and the speed-distance coupling phenomenon of linear frequency modulated continuous wave radar is briefly explained.Then,the paper describes the echoes of the bird target and its model.The bird echo characteristics of birds are analyzed,and the bird target RCS model is further elaborated.The common bird strike species and their average RCS are introduced,and the single bird and bird group are given in combination with the human body 12-point scattering model.Echo model.The paper is followed by the design of the bird radar signal processing solution.The signal processing technical parameters of the system are given,and the overall signal processing scheme of the system is summarized.At the same time,the digital signal down-conversion,distance dimension FFT,MTI,coherent accumulation and constant false alarm detection are combined with the echo signal model in the system.Algorithms such as target information extraction are also designed and simulated by MTALAB.Finally,the paper implements the radar signal processing scheme on the multi-core DSP.The SRIO and UDP communication design was implemented on the TMS320C6678 multi-core DSP.The algorithm design and optimization of MTI,coherent accumulation,constant false alarm detection,target information extraction and other algorithms were completed.The functional modules in the multi-core DSP were verified by simulation data.The verification results show that the design meets the design requirements of the scheme and achieves the expected results.
