FBMC-OQAM technique combined Filter Bank Multi-Carrier(FBMC)and Offset Quadrature Amplitude Modulation(OQAM)shows the characteristics such as high spectrum efficiency and no synchronization in wireless communication system.However,the higher Peak-to-Average Power Ratio(PAPR)of FBMC-OQAM systems can easily lead to signal distortion,spectrum extension and system performance degradation.Therefore,this paper focuses on the PAPR suppression algorithm for FBMC-OQAM systems.Firstly,in the dissertation,two improved algorithm based on selective mapping are proposed to reduce the PAPR of FBMC-OQAM systems.The first scheme named Standard Deviation Selected Mapping(SD-SLM)takes the minimum standard deviation of the PAPR sequence as the criterion for selecting the best PAPR sequence and the best rotation vector,and selects the better rotation vector compared with the traditional standard.The second proposed scheme named Low-complexity Dispersion Selective Mapping(LD-SLM)gives a new interval to calculate PAPR.It selects specific PAPR calculating interval based on the characteristics of FBMC-OQAM signal power distribution,which shortens the search time compared with the Dispersion Selective Mapping algorithm(DSLM).The simulation results show that the SD-SLM scheme can reduce PAPR for FBMC-OQAM signal with a new criterion;LD-SLM scheme has a lower computational complexity than DSLM scheme.Secondly,a new method named TR-?Law is proposed to reduce the PAPR of FBMC-OQAM system.The new method joint Tone Reservation(TR)and u-law companding scheme,so it termed TR-uLaw.The TR method has no distortion characteristic.The u-law companding method causes the distortion to FBMC-OQAM system,but it has obvious effects of reducing PAPR.Therefore,TR-uLaw joint method realizes the complementary advantages of the two methods.The simulation results show that the TR-u Law has superior of PAPR performance than both TR and u-law,and has better BER performance.
