Research On Smart Library In 5G Environment

After IBM put forward the concept of "smart earth" in 2008,the concept of "smart"became hot,and the library academia also conducted an in-depth exploration of the"smart library" with the trend of the times.Now,the definition of the concept of smart library has matured with the progress of technology.At the beginning,it is similar to the concept of digital mobile library.But now,smart library is considered to rely on advanced information technology and people-oriented,so that users can enjoy wisdom a new platform for customized services,smart management,resources,services,technology,etc.are all its basic elements.At present,there are still many deficiencies in the actual construction of smart libraries in China,a large part of which is due to technical limitations.And 5G networks have just begun to be fully commercialized.As a communication infrastructure,5G networks will inevitably have a great impact on the construction of smart libraries Important role.In recent years,there have been few studies on combining 5G with smart libraries,so this article summarizes the characteristics of smart libraries and the impact of 5G on smart libraries based on the basic theoretical research of smart libraries and 5G,and is based on the Hubei Provincial Library Field investigation and research,taking the Hubei Provincial Library as an example to analyze the transformation of smart libraries,studying the problems that Hubei Provincial Libraries will encounter during the intelligent transformation when 5G is coming,and giving suggestions based on the previous theoretical basis With solutions.On the one hand,it can provide new directions and ideas for the construction and development of smart libraries in China.On the other hand,it can also provide relevant experience to the Hubei Provincial Library and the public libraries that are similar to their current status.This article uses literature research method,interdisciplinary research method,comprehensive analysis method and case study method to explore and research the smart library in the 5G environment,specifically divided into the following parts:The first part discusses the background of the topic selection and research significance of the paper,analyzes the current research situation at home and abroad,clarifies the definition of the core category of the research in this paper,and puts forward the core problems of the research on the paper.The second part explains the related concepts of smart library and 5G mobile communication technology,defines the concept of smart library,introduces the service model of smart library,5G mobile communication technology and key technologies of smart library,The application scenarios of 5G mobile communication technology are analyzed to provide a theoretical basis for subsequent research.The third part first summarizes the characteristics of the smart library from four aspects:management,system,service and function,and finds the part with higher compatibility with 5G.Combined with the implementation of 5G application scenarios,we will study how 5G accelerates the construction of smart libraries,and in what ways to strengthen the characteristics of smart libraries.The third part first summarizes the characteristics of the smart library from four aspects of management,system,service and function,and finds the part with higher compatibility with 5G.Combined with the implementation of 5G application scenarios,we will study how 5G accelerates the construction of smart libraries,and in what ways to strengthen the characteristics of smart libraries.The fourth part first analyzes the overall development of the domestic smart library and the current problems,and then takes the Hubei Provincial Library as a case to conduct a more in-depth study on the status quo and the transformation and development of the smart library.The fifth part is based on the research and analysis of the current situation of the intelligent transformation of Hubei province libraries,pointing out that the advent of the 5G era may bring problems for the transformation,and combined with the third part to provide some suggestions for the development of Hubei province libraries under the 5G environment.The sixth part is the summary part of the article,summarizing the work of the whole paper,and thinking and looking forward to the follow-up research of the article.
