Museum as a window of a country or region to promote excellent traditional culture,is influenced by the morden diversity of information dissemination.It is necessary to grasp the opportunity of Internet information dissemination and keeping guarding and inheriting the excellent traditional culture to let more people understand the culture of the nat ive country.Museum website as an important platform for realizing the digitalization,has the functions of expanding museum display,information dissemination and cultural exchange.The overall design of the website also needs higher requirements.A good museum website makes viewers to quickly and easily obtain effective information,and considering the users' browsing habits and modern aesthetic standards.Eye tracking combined with usability testing as a way to measure user experience,it can reflect users browsing behavior more objectively,and it used in web design more and more.The content of this thesis is based on eye tracking analysis to improve design of the website of The Shenyang Palace Museum.The website of excellent museums at China and abroad is selected as the comparison object.The eye tracking method is used to record the browsing behavior of users for each comparison object.The website usability design makes a comparative analysis,explores the advantages and disadvantages between the users.And focuses on the users,summing up the influence of the design elements such as the museum page layout,information distribution,color to the user's browsing experience.Finally,the website interface of The Shenyang Palace Museum website was optimized and improved to solve the problems existing in the original interface.And designed a website with a good user browsing experience and matching with the The Shenyang Palace Museum to promote the branding trend.
