Research On The Evolution Of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Propaganda Strategy

The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement was the largest peasant movement in modern China,and it was also named the pinnacle of the old-style peasant movement.In this peasant movement,its propaganda activities are very sophisticated.It established a brand new cultural symbol to compete with the Qing government,and its propaganda activities extended to the ideological field,forming a relatively complete propaganda system.Compared with the propaganda of previous peasant uprising movements,it has unparalleled progress and creativity.Therefore,from the perspective of communication science,the propaganda in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement deserves research and consideration.At present,there are few systematic studies on the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom propaganda strategy.This paper attempts to use the political changes in the development of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom as a clue,and uses literature analysis and qualitative analysis to explore the changes of the propaganda strategies in the development of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.In the introduction,the research background,current status,and research significance of the topic are introduced;the specific meaning of "publicity strategy" in the text is defined,and the publicity strategy includes both the content and form of publicity;The basis of the division of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom was explained,taking the political changes of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom as the main line,and divided it into three periods: the period of "cultivation of Taoism",the period of "uprising" development,and "decay";And to show the innovation of this research.Chapters 1 to 3 correspond to the three periods of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom 's propaganda strategy development,and examine the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom 's propaganda practices in the period of “Teaching the Road”,the period of “Rebellion” development,and the period of “Decay”.The two aspects summarize the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom's propaganda strategies in different periods,and try to analyze the reasons for the emergence and changes of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom's propaganda strategies from the economic,political,ideological and cultural perspectives.Chapter 4 summarizes the rationality and limitations of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom's propaganda strategy based on the thinking of the previous three chapters,and then helps us to deepen our rational understanding of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom's peasant uprising movement and its propaganda strategy.
