| With the change of digital media and the deepening of globali zation, identity began to become more and more complicated, traditio nal identity began to collapse, and fragmentation and mobility beca me the main characteristics of contemporary identity. But at the sa me time, the change of the media has caused the subject to drift,a nd the subject with the broken identity began to use the media to seek new identification. On this basis, the study of "fan" provides a typical perspective for the study of contemporary identity.Especiall y today, with the rapid development of new media, the identity bou ndaries of "fans" have become more blurred. In fact, with the popu larity of Japan and South Korea's support culture in the country an d the continuous change of media forms, the definition and identity of fans have become stricter. Therefore, studying the identity of th e members of the Relief Corps in the new media provides a supple mentary path to understanding the identity of contemporary society. This paper mainly adopts qualitative research methods such as virtual ethnography and in-depth interviews. It takes identity theory as the starting point and combines multi-disciplinary perspectives s uch as social psychology and journalism to discuss how "fan" use media to construct identity. The author takes the "self-identity" and the group identity of "fan" as the main paths for "fan" to constructidentity, and puts these two paths into chapters two and three resp ectively. In the exploration of the construction of "fan" self-identity,the author divides self-identity into three levels for discussion.Fro m finding self-identity,establishing identity, and finally strengthenin g self-identity,the “other” is an important reference for constructing the self.No individual can exist independently of the group. We a lways establish identity through the eyes and attitudes of others. On ly by integrating into the group can a complete sense of identity b e established.Self-identity and group identity are two parts of a wh ole and are inseparable. Therefore,in the third chapter of this articl e,the author explores from the group level how members of the ai d group can use new media to establish and strengthen group identi ty.At the same time, for "fan",the new medium is not merely a t ool for constructing identity by itself,it represents a common home land of "fan" to a certain extent.Although self-identification and gr oup identification can be strengthened in imaginative practice, such short-term identification is not always monolithic.Intragroup differe ntiation, conflict, and the individual as a nomad will lead to the in stability and fluidity of the group, and ultimately the identity constr ucted by the fan is still a imagination of nothingness. |
