In today's era of information explosion and knowledge updating,individuals need to have the ability of lifelong learning in order to more effectively keep pace with the times.Lifelong learning ability is closely related to reading literacy,and reading strategy is an important part of reading literacy.Therefore,reading strategy has been paid more and more attention by experts and teachers at home and abroad.The McDougal Littell edition of literature textbook(hereinafter referred to as the ML edition of literature textbook)is a textbook focusing on the study of reading strategies,which is of great significance in the compilation of reading strategies.From the perspective of reading strategies,the paper analyzes the compilation of reading strategies in the ML edition of literature textbook,in order to enrich the theoretical knowledge of reading strategies of teachers and students,and provide enlightenment for the compilation of reading strategies in Chinese textbooks.The first chapter is the introduction,including research background,literature review,Concept definition,the main content of the study,research significance,research methods and so on.In the second chapter,based on the pre-class abstract of the ML edition of literature textbook and relevant literature materials,seven main reading strategies(purpose strategy,connection strategy,prediction strategy,visualization strategy,monitoring strategy,outline strategy and summary strategy)in the textbook are analyzed conceptually.The third chapter,based on the text of the ML edition of literature textbook,analyzes the application methods of seven major reading strategies in the textbook by combining notes in the text,post-text testing and relevant literature materials,and summarizes the general methods and steps.The third chapter is divided into three parts: using reading strategies to obtain basic understanding,using reading strategies to monitor understanding,and using reading strategies to achieve information integration.The first part analyzes the application methods of purpose strategy,correlation strategy,prediction strategy and visualization strategy,the second part analyzes the application methods of monitoring strategy,and the third part analyzes the application methods of outline strategy and summary strategy.The fourth chapter analyzes the logical order of the compilation system of reading strategies in the ML edition of literature textbook and reflects on the problems in the compilation.Its logical order is that " thematic induction" undertakes the task of "general understanding",the task of "in-depth learning" is undertaken by " pre-class abstract and notes in the text ",and the task of "review and improvement" is undertaken by " post-text testing "."General understanding,in-depth study,review and thinking" forms a complete learning track,and " thematic induction,pre-class abstract,notes in the text,post-text testing " form a complete strategic learning whole in strategy compilation.The problems are embodied in the following three aspects: the classification of reading strategies is messy;the integration of similar text reading strategies needs to be strengthened;and the compilation of reading strategies lacks hierarchy and order.The fifth chapter analyzes the compilation of reading strategies in the unified edition of the textbook.On this basis,combined with the content of the third chapter,it provides ideas for optimizing the compilation of reading strategies in the unified edition of the textbook.The characteristics of the compilation of reading strategies in the unified edition of the textbook are reflected in two aspects: the overall arrangement of reading strategy units with the same core objective,and the interrelation between the contents before and after reading strategy units.In this paper,the author puts forward some suggestions for textbook optimization from three aspects: defining the concept of "reading strategy" in compilation;expanding the framework system of reading strategy,developing the reading strategy adapted to the new reading form;optimizing the structure of reading strategy compilation." optimizing the structure of reading strategy compilation " includes: enhancing the summary of reading strategies,increasing the introduction of examples of comprehensive use of strategies,and penetrating the learning ideas of reading strategies in ordinary units.
