| Nowadays,the application of social networks has spread in all aspects,whether it is at work or in life.This unique nature of social interaction allows users to make online interactions in social networks different from the offline interactions.In the past,scholars' research on impression management focused on offline social behaviors,so it is of great significance to study the impression management strategies adopted by users when they socialize online.This paper mainly analyzes the personality traits and motivation factors that affect users' impression management strategy behavior in social networks,explores the correlation between the three,builds models,and visualizes the correlation of variables.In this paper,We Chat,which has the highest user activity and a user penetration rate of up to 70%,is selected as the research platform.Collected 331 sample data of We Chat users through online questionnaire.The questionnaire consists of the Big Five Personality Trait Questionnaire,the Acquired and Defensive Impression Management Strategy Questionnaire,We Chat Motivation Questionnaire,and the basic information of We Chat users.Based on the collected data,analyze the correlation among the three and build a model.The study found that outgoing,pleasant,and open personality traits in the Big Five personality traits have a positive correlation with We Chat motivation;We Chat motives have a positive effect on acquired and defensive impression management strategies;Extroversion and open personality traits have a positive effect on acquired impression management strategies.After analyzing the data,the correlation between the variables is obtained.In order to visualize it,the sample data and the existing relationships will be visually presented in this article,and the visual design will be divided into four parts: effectiveness,expressiveness,readability and interactivity. |
