With the rapid development of mobile wireless network technology and the explosive growth of mobile users,how to effectively carry large amounts of mobile data and growing business requirements has become a major problem facing mobile communications.In order to solve this problem,the 3rd Generation Partner Project(3GPP)proposes that user's data can be directly forwarded between users through a device-todevice(D2D)communication method.To avoid the transmission of user data through the infrastructure in the Long Term Evolution(LTE)system,it can effectively relieve the load pressure of the infrastructure,improve the network throughput,and reduce the communication delay.However,the user's cooperative status and willingness will affect the gain brought by D2 D communication to data forwarding.Firstly,the basic concepts,advantages,and typical application scenarios of D2 D communication are introduced.Then the current research hotspots are briefly analyzed.It focuses on analyzing D2 D data forwarding strategies in different scenarios,and summarizes the characteristics of existing strategies.Secondly,an edge cooperative D2 D data forwarding strategy with cooperative state awareing is proposed.In response to the pressure of carrying massive amounts of sensor data in the edge network,the collaboration of user's smart terminals can efficiently forward the data to the infrastructure.Through the history of the encounter between the sensor cluster head and the user to evaluate the D2 D connection status,and aware the user's subjective willingness to collaborate based on the user's interest in forwarding data.At the same time,considering the impact of the user's resource status,to comprehensively aware the user's cooperative status,thereby the user with the best cooperative status is selected as the relay.In addition,an incentive mechanism based on bargaining game is proposed to further stimulate the objective cooperative willingness of relay users.The numerical results verify that the proposed strategy can effectively improve the forwarding success rate and forwarding throughput.Thirdly,a two-way multi-vehicle cooperative D2 D data forwarding strategy is proposed in the highway scene.It selects cooperative vehicles from two directions of movement to assist the customer-vehicle to download data by the way of storing-carryingforwarding.In the same cooperation,a clustering mechanism based on accessible metrics is proposed to form a stable the same cooperative vehicle cluster by awareing the vehicle cooperative status and D2 D data forwarding based on hidden terminal avoidance is adopted to ensure effectively data forwarding in the cluster.In reverse cooperation,D2 D data forwarding based on reverse multi-vehicle joint selection algorithm is used to maximize the amount of reverse data forwarding.In addition,a reliable credit-based incentive mechanism is proposed to enhance the vehicle's cooperative willingness.The numerical results verify that the proposed strategy can significantly reduce the transmission interruption rate and improve the forwarding throughput.Finally,the research work is summarized and the future work is prospected.
