Correlation And Experimental Study Of Microexpression Recognition And Interpersonal Communication Ability

When people are in the real communication environment,trying to suppress the actual feelings they want to express,they will involuntarily produce microexpressions.In the face of other individuals,the process of human communication is the process of interpersonal communication.Microexpressions are external signals sent by individuals in interpersonal communication.Accurate recognition of microexpressions in interpersonal communication can help us quickly identify the intentions of others and make matching responses.From this we can think that individuals' ability to recognize microexpressions can affect the quality of interpersonal communication.In this paper,METT(Micro Expression Training Tool)developed by Ekman and the comprehensive interpersonal relationship diagnostic scale prepared by zheng richang were used as experimental tools to explore the micro-expression recognition ability and interpersonal communication ability of adults by combining questionnaire and experimental methods.The results show that:(1)The results showed that the micro expression recognition ability and interpersonal communication ability of the adults were normal distribution,and the scores of micro expression recognition ability and interpersonal communication ability of the adults were good;(2)Adults have different recognition accuracy for different microexpressions,with the highest recognition accuracy for pleasure and the lowest recognition accuracy for anger;(3)The ability of micro expression recognition of adults is significantly different due to the differences of demography.From the total score of microexpression recognition,the subjects with only child background have higher ability of microexpression recognition than those with non only child background,and the subjects from urban area have higher ability of microexpression recognition thanthose from rural area;(4)There was a significant positive correlation between the ability of micro expression recognition and the ability of interpersonal communication;(5)Through the effective training of microexpression recognition,the ability of adult microexpression recognition can be greatly improved;(6)The scores of adults who have participated in the training of improving the ability of micro expression recognition in the post test of interpersonal skills are higher than those before the training.
