The development of the Internet of Things(IoT)has penetrated into all aspects of human life, and its security has a direct impact on the national economy and social stability. However, lightweight access control and encryption mechanisms can only reduce the threat from external network attacks, abnormal behavior of legitimate nodes and the wrong configuration from administrators have serious threats to IoT security. In order to resist the threat inside the system, this paper focuses on the following aspects of trust management:anomaly detection,VANET security and blockchain security application:Trust Management has been playing an important role in dealing with secu-rity and privacy issues in the Internet of Things(IoT).Following this trend,we propose a trust-based anomaly detection system which provides a closed loop of trustworthiness computing,decision-making and trust reevaluation. The proposed trust model considers multidimensional trust elements including reputation,Quality of Service(QoS)and social relationship, the result of which is employed to instruct the device to take appropriate security policies against its peers. Moreover, the detected anomaly event will trigger the reevaluation of the peers trustworthiness. To evaluate our system,we consider a shopping mall scenario with a great many of IoT devices, and the simulation results show our system achieves very low false alarm rate under proper trust level threshold. There is a growing requirement for effective trust management in Internet of Ve-hicles(IoV),considering the critical consequences of acting on misleading informa-tion spread by malicious nodes. Most existing trust models for IoV are rater-based,where the reputation information of each node is stored in other nodes it has inter-acted with. This is not suitable for IoV environment due to the ephemeral nature of vehicular networks. To fill this gap,we propose a Ratee-based Trust Management(RTM)system, where each node stores its own reputation information rated by others during past transactions, and a credible CA server is introduced to ensure the integrality and the undeniability of the trust information.Additionally,experi-mental results demonstrate that our scheme achieves faster information propagation and higher transaction success rate than conventional rater-based methods. To protect the integrity of the trust information, this paper introduces the emerging blockchain technology, and designs the trust-based consensus protocol for IoT.The protocol allows for each participant to maintain a ledger of trust, and the trust record is consistent by consensus. As the data in the blockchain is append-only and can not be tampered with, the integrity of the information is guaranteed. This paper finally analyzes the space consumption and security of the protocol. In summary, this article develops and expands the application of trust man-agement in IoT from three aspects:anomaly detection,VANET and blockchain. It protects the integrity reliability of the trust information and resists the inside threat of IoT systems.
