The Design And Implementation Of A Portable Ultra-High Frequency RFID Reader

With the development of the RFID radio frequency identification technology and application environment of innovation,small to transportation card,ID card recognition system,big to warehouse management and ETC system.The traditional industrial RFID products has already a great development.but relatively few consumer RFID products,it can not meet the daily needs of consumers.The industry RFID products is larger,the shortcomings of cost is higher,the price is more expensive,has seriously affected the RFID products application and promotion in the field of consumer market.A much-needed innovative and portability of RFID products to lead the new consumer market,become a booster to promote large-scale application of RFID technology.The main content of this paper is to design and produce a portable and low cost UHF RFID reader.The product can be used on a USB OTG Android smartphones,to make it into a small UHF handsets reader.It can read UHF-RFID tags outside of 40 cm ~50cm.Base on the main processor and friendly UI on a smart phone,it completely changed the existing UHF device which has large,bulky and expensive shortcomings.This paper is divided into the following four parts to discuss:1.Introduces the RFID technology,especially the UHF RFID development course and status.List the problems,analyzed them,and put forward my own solutions.Moerover,the we analyse what is need to break through in technical difficulties;2.Hardware design in detail.This part expounds the detailed hardware design of the portable UHF RFID,deeply analyzes the products of every design detail,make readers can clearly understand the author's design idea3.Software design in detail.This part expounds the detailed communication protocols of PR9000 chip and how to design the android application.4.System debugging and testing.This part expounds the hardware and software of the portable UHF RFID read-write card and the debugging of the joint debugging process,and the whole machine read RFID tags were tested.The last chapter of the full text summarized the whole work,and the subsequent development of the product planning and prospect.
