An Analysis Of The Topic Selection Situation Of The National Social Science Foundation For Journalism And Communication In China

This paper takes the project approved by the national social science foundation for journalism and communication from 1991 to 2019 as a sample,and firstly makes statistics on the basic data of the project category,the subordinate system,and the provinces and cities of the project undertaking units,so as to understand the development of the discipline from a macro perspective and find the changes of the discipline project from a quantitative perspective.On this basis,from the project selected topic involved discipline direction,project research point,project classification and research unit node distribution,project sources,discipline and knowledge classification analysis six dimensions to further qualitative research project project,intended to from the new exploration on the content,found that the journalism and communication,national social science fund project development situation as a whole.The research results show that the number of news and communication projects approved by the national social science foundation is on the rise,and the proportion of them in more than 20 disciplines is increasing year by year.In terms of subject orientation,communication and journalism are still the two pillar directions of subject research,and research on new media has become the third hot field of journalism and communication.In terms of the interdisciplinary nature of project research,the proportion of interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research is increasing year by year.From the perspective of the research object of the project,the number of practical research is the largest,exceeding that of theoretical and historical research,forming a situation in which the project research is more applied than basic,and the research field of the project is more domestic than foreign.Through the analysis of the source of the project,it is found that in addition to the national strategy-driven,technology-driven business driven main body,the important driving force comes from the research and practice based on the theoretical knowledge of the discipline itself,that is,the discipline driven,thus promoting the development of the discipline of journalism and communication.National social science fund project to journalism and communication class time will be put forward by the project according to the national strategy in 1991-2019 is divided into four stages,the analysis found that the stages presented the characteristics of outstanding theme but poor overall sustainability,in under the guidance of national strategy to carry out the body of the project research,has formed,led by Sichuan university,HuaZhong university of science and technology,etc,the south of the colleges and universities become the main force,more than the people's university,communication university of China,Hebei university of journalism and communication discipline power strong north colleges and universities;Through modern psychology knowledge classification theory,to project after the project classification,found that the writing of the project selected topic prefer the expression of declarative knowledge,declarative knowledge on the number of absolute advantage,through to the declarative knowledge subject sampling found that the present for the discussion and the discipline own intellectual have a clear knowledge,there is a clear embodiment of the descriptive and introductory words in common,such as procedural knowledge topics are divided into the title directly gives countermeasures and methods of dominant procedural knowledge,and with "warning" as the representative of the implicit class procedural knowledge,to provide reference for the researchers of subjects,also for the information manager provides new train of thought.
