As the backbone of the information industry,integrated circuits have been applied to many field.But with the development of the integrated circuits,some attackers enable the plantation of Hardware Trojans in integrated circuits,which cause great harm.Due to the elusive of the Hardware Trojans,the traditional detection method cannot find the Hardware Trojans,so we need to study the activation method of Hardware Trojans to detection the Hardware Trojans.In order to activate the Hardware Trojans in the integrated circuits,this paper start from the trigger part of Hardware Trojans,study the triggered process of Hardware Trojans,and then presents a method to calculate the threshold of rare nodes,then use Genetic Algorithm and bit correlation algorithm to optimize the test vector.For ISCAS'85 benchmark circuits as the circuits under test,the vector produced by Genetic Algorithm make the rare nodes' transition rate increased by 5.38 times,the vector produced by bit correlation algorithm make the rare nodes' transition rate increased by 5.16 times.Finally ameliorate the optimization algorithm,use the test vecter produced by Genetic Algorithm as the initial value of the bit correlation algorithm for the optimization of algorithm.For ISCAS'85 benchmark circuits,the vector produced by combinational optimization algorthm make the rare nodes' transition rate increased by 8.99 times,and this paper use FPGA to verify the optimization effect of vectors,the result prove the optimization algorithm to produce the test vector can improve the Hardware Trojan trigger rate,so it can also activate the Hardware Trojans.
