With the launch of the investment consulting,asset management and risk management subsidiary of futures companies,futures companies are facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges.The key for futures companies to stand out in the fierce competition is building up business model that is in line with the industry development trend and reconstructing their main business income.Guolian Futures Co.,Ltd.believes that the vigorous development of financial futures is bound to promote the rapid expansion of quantitative trading in domestic.Financial electronic commerce must have a huge potential for market development since IT industry becomes more and more important for modem finance.Thus,for the framework of futures investment consulting business,Guolian Futures Co.,Ltd.built a platform of "Tao Strategy",of which the basic service is quantitative trading.They combined the advanced IT framework with professional trading consulting to ensure customers get stable and timely transaction advisory services,thereby truly achieving the goal of comprehensive financial services.In this paper,we started with the analysis on the selection of the business model of futures companies,discussed the basic conditions for the combination of futures business and e-commerce,demonstrated the design,building and business model for practice of "Tao Strategy" platform from the practical experience of project operation,thus proposed risks of new business models and presented solutions on some existing issues by using management theory.From the aspects of theory and practice,this paper analyzed the problems,the root causes of them and the main bottlenecks of Guolian Futures Co.,Ltd.during the development of innovative business.We also found out methods to solve the above problems and put forward some feasible countermeasures and suggestions.
