As the continuous development of economic and the living standards of urban residents, the number of households in China has crossed the stage from subsistence to comfort, and the demand for family services will become increasingly urgent. As of 2016,the permanent population of Hunan reached 68.22 million and the urbanization rate was as high as 50.89%.The elderly population aged 65 and above has reached 8.015 million and the number of households is about 23 million. The level of consumption of the residents in the province is also rising. The aging of the population, the miniaturization of the family, and the implementation of the two-child policy have enabled people to pursue higher-level consumer spending activities after satisfying basic living needs. The family services industry should start to enter every household and gradually become an indispensable service content.People's demands for the family service industry and the quality of service continue to increase. After more than a decade of development,Hunan has spawned a number of distinctive family service brand enterprises. However, due to the late start of Hunan's family service industry, rapid development, and the relative lag in the construction of industry regulations and standards, there is a lack of standardized methods and methods for household service companies to provide services to customers, and the subjective randomness of internal management is strong, and the quality of family service personnel in all aspects. The performance is also uneven, and the quality of service and the safety of the service are all unsatisfactory. It is difficult to satisfy the growing demand of the residents for family services. The continuous development of family services also shows a series of problems. The problem of inadequate supply of service standards is particularly acute. This paper draws on the research on standardization in other industries and analyzes the status quo of supply and demand in the standardization development of the domestic service industry through the collected data.Through the construction of a standardized conceptual model to analyze the problem of insufficient supply of the family service industry standards.According to the principle of supply and demand, further analysis of the reasons for the lack of supply of standards. The results show that the main reason for the insufficient supply of the family service standards stems from the following reasons:(1)The technical standards of the family service industry standards are established, and the standard supply cannot meet the market demand.(2)The growth rate of standard supply in the area of family service standard formulation is far lower than the growth rate of standard demand, resulting in insufficient supply of standards.(3)The externalities brought about by the family service standards make it impossible to achieve the internalization of the enterprise and the formulation of the enterprise's exit criteria, resulting in insufficient supply of standards. The lack of standard supply will hinder the development of the family service industry in Hunan Province. The main reason is that the supply and demand information asymmetry is not conducive to the improvement of the efficiency of the family service industry, hindering the standardization, institutionalization and professional development of the family service industry. Finally,it proposes policy recommendations to promote the standardization of the family service industry, which will help regulate the market order of the family service industry, improve service quality, and enhance the core competitiveness of service companies,so that the development of the domestic service industry in China can be promoted more quickly and better, and promote our country's Economic and cultural development.
