Data Quality Control Of XBRL Financial Report

The development of information technology has made the XBRL project popularized rapidly in the world.Since the introduction of this concept in 1998,many countries have adopted the XBRL standard financial reports.In 2002,the project will be formally applied to the stock market in China,has achieved the financial reporting of all listed companies,and provides the comparison and XBRL instance documents could been download.To strive more opening database and make the data extraction and analysis automation.However,because the XBRL data is only reference and the quality can not be effectively guaranteed,the promotion cycle and implementation cost of the XBRL project have greatly increased.The essence is which China's XBRL project has been the lack of the complete financial reporting data quality control system.By reading a lot of literatures,put forward integrated data quality control system on the XBRL of the financial report,has important significance for the promotion and application of XBRL project in China.This paper first describes the theory of data quality in XBRL financial reporting,and analyzes the problems in data quality and causes of the problems.Secondly,according to the different stages of XBRL financial reporting cycle,we set up a reasonable data quality control system separately for the establishment stage of classification standard,the implementation stage of XBRL,the classification standard / instance document evaluation and feedback stage.Thirdly,take the British XBRL project as an example to analyze the data quality control system of the British XBRL financial report.Then,we make a comprehensive analysis of China's XBRL projects,and propose relevant data quality control system and suggestions for financial reporting,so as to promote the application and development of XBRL projects in China's market.
