The bank is one of the main body of economic activities to absorb public deposits and make loans as its main business activities.Banks through credit business activities,however,to obtain the operating profit at the same time also face a number of risks such as credit risk,operational risk and market risk,the credit risk is the main risk of commercial Banks face.Especially in the Asian financial crisis of 1997 and 2008 by the U.S.subprime mortgage crisis of the global financial crisis,many financial institutions risk problem of infinite expansion,many of the importance of financial institutions such as Lehman brothers and American international group,facing the verge of bankruptcy,the bank's non-performing assets significant growth,economic development.Since then,risk management,especially the risk management of commercial Banks,has attracted more and more attention from managers and scholars.The market of Vietnam increasingly open after Vietnam joined the world trade organization(WTO),the prosperity of foreign trade and economic ties with Vietnam,the scale of the banking sector is also growing,increasing credit business.According to the general risk theory of commercial Banks,the risks of commercial Banks include credit risk,market risk and operation risk,among which the credit risk is the first risk of the bank.Therefore,it is of vital importance to explore the credit risk management of Vietnamese large commercial bank to the development of bank of Vietnam and the stability of the whole Vietnam economy.
