This paper is aimed at assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment and selection methods of employees in relation to organizational productivity in Public sector by using the Central Bank of Sierra Leone as a case study.Chapter one starts with an introduction of the terms of recruitment and selection,the background,aim and questions of the research.Chapter two focuses mainly on the review of literature.These consist of theories,published and unpublished research materials and findings.Chapter three which deals with methodology,framework and methods of data collection,primary data which was used in the research,the sampling side and sampling method of data collection,it also makes use of qualitative and quantitative method of data analysis,type of respondent number and how they were collected.Chapter four deals with data analysis and presentation.Data were presented and analyzed.Finally,chapter five deals with summary of findings from the research and recommendations are put forward on how to effectively select employees for jobs in Central Bank of Sierra Leone.
