With the rapid development of Chinese economy and society,on the one hand, the number of Chinese tourists choosing outbound tourism has increased year by year.China has become the world's largest outbound consumer nation for four consecutive years since 2012,and the scale of outbound tourism continues to grow.On the other hand,Chinese trade frictions, territorial disputes, and national defense security strategies of neighboring countries are increasingly frequent.Chinese measures in international disputes such as international trade frictions, territorial disputes, and national defense security strategy games, that neither harm the diplomatic relations between countries nor achieve some of its own strategic goals, will take action. This has become an unavoidable issue for academics and an international grasp. The status quo of the relationship is a prerequisite for formulating a scientific and effective strategic strategy.Scholars in the field of international relations study that a country is forcing other countries to change certain behaviors or intentions in order to achieve some of their strategic goals. Most of them are based on the theory of power from the economic, military, diplomatic and other aspects of consideration, failing to focus on the power of tourism. The tourism academic circles mostly study tourism-related issues from the macro level of economy, culture, geography, and travel agencies, tourists, and scenic spots, and are less concerned with international relations and international politics. In the context of the rapid economic and social development in China, the deepening of international exchanges, the ever-increasing scale of outbound tourism, and the increasing number of friction disputes between China and its neighboring countries, this study uses mathematical modeling methods to explore China's tourism as a means to Japan?South Korea and Thailand. The study, which has important theoretical and practical significance, will provide a scientific decision-making basis for the achievement of national strategic intentions.Based on the theory of power, this study defines the concept of tourism economic power, analyzes the function mechanism of tourism economic power, and uses the models of gravity, logarithm, and variance decomposition to deeply analyze the tourism economic power of China against the inbound tourism of Japan,South Korea and Thailand. The results show that:First, there is a two-way suppression of the tourist economic power between China and Japan and between China and South Korea, and China forms a suppressive tourism economic power for Thailand, and Thailand does not form a suppressive tourism economic power for China.Second, the contribution of Chinese tourists to the inbound tourism of Japan,South Korea, and Thailand revenues stabilized at 7%in the fourth-lag period, stable at 68%in the lagging nine-year period, and stable at 2%in the second-half period.Third,China's exertion of tourism economic power on Japan will respectively cause losses of about 40%and 0.3%of Japan's inbound tourism revenue and GDP;China's exertion of tourism economic power on South Korea will respectively result in losses of approximately 70%and 1%in Korea's inbound tourism revenue and GDP;China's exertion of tourism economic power on Thailand will respectively result in a 23%and 3%loss in Thailand's inbound tourism revenue and GDP.Fourth,China has the highest efficiency in exerting tourist economic power in Japan, followed by the efficiency in exerting tourist economic power in Thailand, and the least in exerting power on tourism economic power in Korea.Fourth,China has the highest efficiency in exerting power on tourism economics in Japan, followed by Thailand and Korea.
