China's research on performance auditing appeared in the 1990 s.With the change of the administrative function of our government,the evaluation of the management of government performance auditing has been paid more and more attention by the society.The performance audit of audit institutions can promptly reveal and investigate issues such as serious losses caused by unscientific and unskilled management,and management,and promote the government and relevant departments to improve management,improve systems,and improve performance.In recent years,audit institutions at all levels in China have actively explored performance auditing.Vigorously launching performance auditing has become the consensus of audit organizations at all levels.However,the implementation of government performance auditing in China is still at the starting stage,lack of practical experience,and theoretical research.Need to go deeper.The starting point of this study is to address the real problems and difficulties in the practice of performance auditing in B city,and to explore the innovation and development path of B city government performance audit to promote the healthy development of local economy.This paper first introduces the background,significance,current situation,method,and related concepts and theoretical foundations of the topic,fully understands the current research status quo,and lays a theoretical support for the research performance audit.The third chapter is the performance audit of B city government.The status quo and problems were investigated and interviewed by the auditors in B city.Taking B city performance auditing cases as examples,the problems existing in the current performance audit in B city were analyzed comprehensively;the fourth chapter was about the government performance of B city.The problems in the related auditing system,evaluation system,team construction,auditing methods,and auditing announcements were analyzed.The fifth chapter is the experiences and inspirations of domestic and foreign experiences.The performance audits of the three governments in the United States,the United Kingdom,and Switzerland were more developed.For the implementation of performance audit pilots in Shenzhen and China as an example.Comprehensive and in-depth analysis,in order to better learn from experience,to achieve the effect of promoting their own development;Chapter VI is to improve the efficiency of the B city government performance audit put forward countermeasures and recommendations,mainly from strengthening the construction of the audit team,enrich the audit method,build performance Auditing information bases,auditing supervision and other aspects have been put forward for feasibility proposals,with a view to promoting the development of the performance audit of the municipal government of B to provide support.
