The Effect Of Government Security Housing On The Consumption Of Residents From Different Income Groups

With the rapid rise of house prices in recent years,the problem of housing difficulties in urban low-income groups have been paid more attention.The imperfect of the construction of the security housing makes the cost of renting and buying a house of the urban low-income groups further aggravated,and their consumption decreases.Different housing security policies will have different effects on the consumption behavior of residents of different income levels.Reasonable housing security policies not only help improve the consumption structure,but also increase the consumption level of residents,which promote the healthy development of the economy.The previous studies only focus on the security housing‘s influences on the consumption expansion and its overall impact on the consumption of urban residents,which are the limits of these sduties.As the regional characteristics of the real estate market,there is a great difference in the supply of security housing,house price and the income level of the residents in different areas.Therefore,the marginal contribution of this article is that taking Chongqing city as a case study,from the perspective of group differences,divides the urban residents' income level,to study the influence of the security housing supply on the residents' consumption expenditure at different income levels,which makes the research more meaningful.Based on the description of consumption function,the influence of security housing supply on the consumption of urban residents,and the current situation of security housing and residents' consumption in Chongqing,and also taking the availability and effectiveness of data into account,this paper selected the annual panel data of Chongqing from 2002 to 2016,through the panel data unit root test,correlation test,the cointegration test,individual Fixedeffects variable-coefficient model estimation and the robust test to study the impact of housing security supply on the consumption of different income groups.The study found that the effect is different.For low income group,middle and low income group and middle income group,housing security supply has a promoting effect on the consumption of residents.And for high income group,the effect is negative.Based on the empirical analysis,this paper makes the relevant policy recommendations.
