Study On The Development Of Facility Agriculture In Songshan District Of Chifeng City

China is in a critical period of the transformation from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture.In the inevitable trend of modernization of agriculture and the innovation of the traditional agriculture,the promotion of facility agriculture has made rapid progress.Facility agriculture is characterized by higher technical level,higher added value of product,higher utilization rate of land and higher efficiency of labor.Songshan District is a large agricultural region in Chifeng City.The area of facility agriculture in Songshan accounts heavily for the city.The abundant natural resources and rich labor force provide the foundation for Songshan District to develop the facility agriculture.The paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the healthy development of facility agriculture by studying the current situation and existing problems of local facility agriculture.First of all,from perspectives of the planting area,development model,crop type,marketing channel,cooperative organization and the establishment of quality supervision organization etc,the paper conducts an investigation about the present situation of the development of facility agriculture in Songshan District and analyzes the cost and benefit of greenhouse,which also introduces the characteristic agriculture park.Secondly,according to the investigation,it is found that there are some problems in the development of facility agriculture of Songshan District,such as: hysteric development of facility greenhouse types,simple construction structure,slow development of related cooperative organizations,lack of attention of market's expansion,unsubstantial support of science and technology,lack of facility agriculture talents,shortage of construction fund,small amount fund for government's supporting projects,absent quality supervision for agricultural products,and the misuse of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.In addition,using the analytical method SWOT,the paper analyzes the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats of facility agriculture development in Songshan District.Research shows that the strengths of facility agriculture development in Songshan District are natural resources,traffic situation,labor resources and the good basis of economy.The weaknesses are technology,unsound industrial management system,imperfect agricultural extension system and poor innovation ability.The District embraces good policy and economical chances and at the meanwhile confronts nature,ecological environment and market risks.Finally,the paper puts forward the countermeasures for the facility agriculture development in Songshan District,which include enriching the type of greenhouse and makeuse of the resources properly,increasing the construction of professional agricultural cooperatives and support the leading enterprises,optimizing the environment for talents and cultivating leaders of new industry,strengthening the supervision of agricultural products quality,increasing the construction funds and support,perfecting the extension system of agriculture and improve the service system of the rural information and providing suggestions for facility agriculture development in Songshan District,Chifeng City.
