An Empirical Study On The Reform Of Food Regulatory System Of Local Governments

Food safety has always been a hot topic in the society,and has always been the concern of the masses.Because of the large population in China,the potential of food market is enormous,and the demand of food consumption groups at all levels continues to increase.However,some businessmen are lack of social morality and social responsibility,plus the recent society is existing a distorted values of “money first”,together resulting in some unscrupulous manufacturers and businessmen producing and selling substandard food.Food safety supervision is related to the health of the masses,the harmony and stability of the state and society,and the image of the government in the hearts of the people.Therefore,the government pays great attention to food safety supervision.In recent years,the implementation of food supervision function and the reform of the food supervision system are also being carried out intensively in China.Since March 2013,China has begun to carry out the reform of the major system of food safety.And in March 2018,China formally promoted the implementation of market supervision system reform from the national level.Based on the analysis of the historical evolution of China's food supervision system reform,the theory of food safety supervision at home and abroad,the advanced supervision ideas of developed countries,this paper is going to summarize the problems of domestic food safety supervision system and propose corresponding countermeasures according to these problems by taking Linchuan District of Fuzhou City Jiangxi Province as an example.This paper also provides a solution for the specific problems of food safety supervision at the grass-roots level.
