For a long time,small and medium-sized enterprises play an important and irreplaceable role in the economic development of a country.Their role is especially noticeable in stabilizing economy,providing social services,increasing a large number of jobs and foreign exchange reserves of one country.The quality and vitality of the development of small and medium-sized enterprises have a wide and significant influence on the national economic development.At present,especially in the western region of china,uneven economic development and development of enterprises is a widespread phenomenon.When one bank chooses customer group,quality of the customer manager,credit policy orientation and other factors will set some unconventional conditions artificially based on their own interests due to the information asymmetry.Although these unconventional conditions ca n help banks to effectively solve the excess funding problems,it often turns into an invisible indicator for banks to filter customers,becoming a roadblock to the financing of small and medium enterprises.Qingbaijiang District,as an old Industrial Development Zone of Chengdu,has long been the cradle of the development of small and medium-sized enterprises,there are a large number of high-quality customers.But because of the bankruptcy of traditional companies such as Sichuan chuanhua chemical company Ltd and pangang group,the jurisdiction of the small and medium-sized enterprises has suffered implicated.In this paper,hundreds of small and medium-sized enterprises of two state-owned bank is taken as research object.Relying on the background that do mestic and foreign research on credit rationing and small business financing difficult.This dissertation will use empirical analysis method to study and explore the factors affecting small and medium credit in Qingbaijiang district.This paper firstly introduces the definition,generation and impact of credit rationing in detail,giving a brief description of the current situation of the development and financing of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises.Then introduces the economic development of Qingbaijiang District and the situation of small and medium-sized enterprises,this leads to the thesis of this paper – An empirical research on the factors affecting credit of small and medium companies in Qingbaijiang district of chengdu.The article sorts out the theoretical research on credit rationing from china and abroad.Taking credit cases of two local state-owned banks as the research object.The author has built the regression model,by which statistical analysis of scale of business operation,profit level,profit fluctuation,gender,age,and education background of business owners,and mortgage and pledge were made.According to regression analysis of the Logit model,the main factors that affect the credit rationing of SMEs are the period of establishment of an enterprise,the numbers of cooperative bank,gender of business owners and yield rate of total assets.This paper has creatively discovered that the longer SMEs established,the more likely they are subject to credit rationing,and women have advantages in credit market.At last,some suggestions are also being putted forward to promote the development of enterprises in the region.
