With the process of urbanization,it has become one of the important strategic choices to guarantee the sustainable development of China's economy and society by promoting the rational distribution of newly-increased construction land to gentle slopes.hence,in order to provide more scientifically guides for the construction land climbing,it is necessary to explore the evolution laws and mechanisms of urban construction land expansion on slope gradient,This paper us Based on the related theories and methods of "slope spectrum" and "construction of ground slope spectrum",took Kunming City,Qujing City,Yuxi city and Chuxiong city of central Yunnan Province as the research object,used ASTER GDEM data and 4 phase remote sensing image data,with the aid of RS image analysis and GIS spatial analysis,Analyzed The spectral morphology and its evolution characteristics of the construction slope in 4 cities,compared The variation characteristics of the morphological parameters of each slope and its applicability to the mountain process of measuring the construction land,and discussed the evolution mechanism of the construction slope.Finally The following achievements and recognition have been made:1)from 2000 to 2015,the construction land of 4 cities in Central Yunnan is concentrated in the low slope section.When the slope value is over 12,the frequency of the construction land area is less than 1% and gradually decreased.2)The average slope of new construction land in Kunming has gradually increased,the trend of climbing is obvious,the slope of the construction land is moderate;The average slope of new construction land in Qujing fluctuated greatly,the slope of the construction land is lower;The average slope gradient of new construction land in Yuxi is relatively smaller,the overall are decreased trends;The slope of the construction land is lower;The average slope gradient of new construction land in Chuxiong is relatively small.The degree of uphill for construction land has been maintained the highest.3)the evolution characteristics of slope spectrums of 4 urban construction land in Central Yunnan are different from each other.The main driving force is that the terrain background factors of various cities and the relevant government decision-making of urban development planning.Those results has a high value in guiding an area's planning and estimating built-land climbing,can also provide statistical supports and theories in urbans' planning managements and scientific developing policies.
