Ultrasound imaging has the advantages of innovation and real-time The imaging process for internal organs of the human body can be easily performed.Therefore,ultrasound imaging has become an important tool for more and more researchers to extract the morphological and structural parameters of muscles.It can provide clear images of the soft tissue and organ structure of the human body.It is a very effective tool for studying the morphological and structural characteristics of skeletal muscles.Has been widely used to study the structural changes of skeletal muscle,such as the length of the muscle bundle,the pennation angle,the thickness of the muscle,etc.These morphological parameters are directly related to the mechanical properties of the muscle.It provides a convenient way to quickly and easily diagnose the tissue characteristics of skeletal muscle.The definition of Pennation Angle(PA)is the angle between the muscle fascicle and deep aponeurosis,which reflected trigonometric function of axis torque and its component torque.Pennation angle Will shape Angle varies with the ankle dorsiflexion and plantar flexion.Facts have proved that the Achilles tendon moment has a direct relationship with the Pennation Angle.Pinnate Angle change Call reflect the muscle function and status.In recent years,researchers try to analyses muscle ultrasonic image through all kinds of algorithms of image processing,in order to obtain these parameters automatically.Zhou and Zheng put forward algorithms calculating pinnate Angle of the muscle fibers based on Revoting Hough Transform method in the ultrasound images,and achieved good effect,further application of the algorithm in the dynamics processing of muscle movements for of pennate Angle.Zhao and Zhang implements automatic tracking and calculation of the pinnate Angle using the Radon.(1)Analysis of defects based on ultrasonic radio frequency signals and Localized Radon Transform in the automatic measurement of muscle pennation angle.Based on this,a new discrete transform-Adjustable Resolution Linear Summation(ARLS)transform is proposed.The advantages of the algorithm in automatically detecting the muscle pinnate angle are introduced.During the detection process,the algorithm directly defines the transformation performed on the discrete domain.Compared with other algorithms,it has higher signal-to-noise ratio,provides adjustable resolution,reduces computational cost and subjectivity in the detection process,and provides higher detection accuracy.(2)The simulation of the muscle ultrasound image was carried out by the Field ?simulation program,and the simulated muscle ultrasound image was obtained.The simulated ultrasound image was preprocessed and the effective region was obtained.In order to achieve automatic detection of muscle pennation angle,we use our proposed adjustable resolution linear summation to achieve automatic detection of aponeuroses and fascicles in muscle ultrasound images.After obtaining the aponeuroses and fascicles,reduce step size and improve detection accuracy.Achieve the automatic detection of muscle pinnate angle in simulated ultrasound images.The number of pennation angle obtained is compared with the number of pennation angle measured in the existing algorithm to verify the feasibility of the algorithm and have higher accuracy.Compare the pennation angle results obtained from the experiment with the results of the original algorithm.Verify the feasibility of the algorithm and have higher accuracy.(3)Obtaining a series of actual gastrocnemius muscles ultrasound images by ultrasonic instrument and as a source of clinical trial data.In order to verify the feasibility of ARLS in clinical experiments,the algorithm was applied to detect the ultrasound image of the gastrocnemius muscle.Obtain the angle of the aponeuroses and fascicles,reduce step size and improve detection accuracy.Achieve the automatic detection of muscle pennation angle in actual ultrasound images.Compare the results with manually detected.Verify the feasibility of the algorithm and have higher accuracy in clinical experiments.
