Cyproconazole is a sort of triazole fungicide that was invented by SANDOZ Co.Ltd in Switzerland.Because this fungicide has the qualities of high efficiency,low toxicity and weed widely,so it played an important role in the international fungicide market.1-(4-Chloro-phenyl)-2-cyclopropyl-propan-l-one is an important intermediate in the production of Cyproconazole,therefore it is very valuable in studying its synthesis technology to increase the competitive power of Cyproconazole in the market.In this paper,the synthetic methods of 1-(4-Chloro-phenyl)-2-cyclopropyl-propan-1-one were reviewed,three routes were designed with lowering the production cost as target.One of the routes is industrial,and actually applied in enterprise,the other routes are new.And all the routes were studied through carrying on a large number of experiments.Then the optimum technological conditions such as reactant proportion,solvent,reacting temperature,catalyst choosing and reacting time have been gotten.And a potential route has been found by comparing all experiment results:regarding diethyl oxalate and butanone as starting materials,the target compound was prepared by means of epoxidation,rearrangement,oxidation and condensation.The method has the features of a simple progress,lower cost and feasible industrialization;it will produce tremendous benefits of economy and society in the future.At the same time,IR,HNMR and MS confirmed the chemical structure of products and immediate.
