The high-temperature dust removal technology is the key to the development of advanced coal-fired combined cycle power generation.It is of great practical significance both for the clean and efficient use of coal and for the energy conservation and emission reduction in metallurgy,petroleum,and chemical industries.In the high-temperature dust removal process,particle layer dust collectors and ceramic filter dust collectors are most likely applied to system purification.Compared with ceramic filter dust collectors,particle layer dust collectors are more feasible in terms of technology development and process.This paper is inspired by the thermionic emission electrostatic precipitator based on low work function cathode discharge,combined with particle layer filter dust removal mechanism,to form an electrostatically enhanced high-temperature particle layer dust removal system,thereby obtaining a novel and efficient high-temperature dust removal technology.Based on the previous researches,an electrostatically enhanced high-temperature particle layer dust removal test rig based on low-efficacy cathode discharge has been built,and the dust collector has been experimentally studied to obtain pure particle layer filtration,precharge-only filtration,and preloading.Electrostatic particle layer electrostatic enhanced filtration related dust characteristics data,and discussed the influence of temperature,particle diameter,charge voltage,particle layer thickness,dust collection voltage and other factors on dust removal efficiency.Based on the experimental research,the dust removal efficiency of the electrostatically enhanced high-temperature particle layer dust collector for the cathode discharge was calculated using a standard formula and compared with the test data.The correction formula of the dust removal efficiency was obtained based on the test data,and the formula was further used.Mechanism analysis of the charge voltage,temperature,wind speed,dust collection voltage,particle layer thickness and other factors on the dust removal efficiency.The research results show that the electrostatic high temperature particle layer dust collector can effectively improve the dust removal efficiency,and has a good application prospect.The obtained correction formula can provide a certain theoretical guidance for related projects.
