With the increase of the open-pit mining time, the open slope gradually increases. The blasting vibration caused by daily blasting operations has become increasingly prominent on the stability of the slope, and has become an urgent problem for open-pit mines. The stability of open-pit slopes directly threatens the safety of mining staff and machinery and equipment, and affects the normal production and economic benefits of mining enterprises. This paper takes the east-faulted fault slope of the Manjiazhai Stope of Yunnan Hualian zinc and indium Limited by Share Ltd as the research object, and analyzes the propagation characteristics of the blasting vibration on the upper and lower plates of the fault and the propagation of the blasting vibration signal on the fault during the blasting operation on the upper plate of the fault. The impact of blasting vibration on the stability of fault-containing slopes was studied. The main research contents and achievements of this paper are as follows:(1)Three survey lines are set up in the East Gang of the Manjiazhai mining site, and 5-6 fixed monitoring points for each survey line are used to monitor the blasting vibration of the east side slope of the stope.Using the Sartowski's empirical formula to perform regression fitting on the monitoring data of the faulted hanging wall, the propagation law of the blasting vibration signal on the upper wall of the fault is obtained.(2)According to the regression formula of the blasting vibration on the upper plate of the fault, the blasting vibration velocity of the lower plate of the fault is predicted, and then the influence of the fault on the blasting vibration signal is analyzed.(3)Spectral analysis of blasting vibration signals using HHT analysis method to obtain the main vibration frequency of blasting vibration signals. The minimum safety of different maximum single shot doses is calculated by combining the formulas obtained by fitting and the “Safety Regulations for blasting(GB6722-2014)” distance.(4)Using ANSYS/LS-DYNA to simulate the distribution of stress field in the slope with fault and the propagation characteristics of blasting vibration, the potential instability zone on the slope during blasting operation was analyzed. All these have very important significance for the safe production of open pit mines.
