CFTS has emerged as a potential candidate in optoelectronic devices due to its non-toxicity,low cost,high stability and the ideal band-gap.Many different methods have been applied to fabricate CFTS thin film,such as vacuum techniques and non-vacuum techniques.However,all the methods have the problem of high energy consumption and the complicated technological process.Herein,this paper describes two simple,environmental harmless ways to fabricate CFTS absorber film.Cu Cl,FeSO4·7H2O,SnCl4·5H2O and Na2S·9H2O were chosen for the synthesis of CFTS powders.CFTS and CFTSSe films were fabricated by annealing the CFTS films under S or Se vapor.XRD and Raman spectrum were used to measure the phase.The phase of CTS is observed in the precursor powders,Stannite-CFTS is observed in the CFTS powders and films.The thickness of the CFTSSe film is bigger than the CFTS film due to the expansion after selenized annealing.High resolution XPS spectrum was recorded for Cu 2p region,Fe 2p region,Sn 3d region and S 2p region.The peak positions and separations of Cu 2p and Fe 2p indicate presence of proper states.However,some CFTS powders were oxidized during the annealing process because some peaks were observed for Fe 2p and S 2p region.UV-vis absorption and Photocurrent–time?j–t?responses were used to measure the photoelectric properties of CFTS and CFTSSe film.The band-gaps of CFTS and CFTSSe film are 1.32e V and1.25e V.In conclusion,both CFTS and CFTSSe films are the potential candidate in optoelectronic devices.CFTS powders were synthesized by solvothermal method without annealing process.The CFTS films were fabricated by blade-coating process.Following the fabrication of the CFTS films,the films were annealed in an Ar atmosphere in a quartz tube furnace.Then KCl or RbCl dissolved in deionized water was synthesized to incorporate doped material into CFTS.The CFTS films have been soaked in the prepared alkali ions solution for a time of 10 min.Then the films were sulfurized to form CFTS films by annealing under S vapor followed by cooling naturally.XRD,Raman spectrum and FESEM images were used to measure the samples.The CFTS powders were about 1?m.The effects of K and Rb elements on the properties of CFTS based solar cells have been studied.These doped ions were successfully incorporated in the CFTS compounds by soaking the CFTS thin films in a solution containing these elements prior to sulfurization annealing.The CFTS:K and CFTS:Rb films became compactness and exhibited strong and broad absorption in the visible region.The CFTS,CFTS:K and CFTS:Rb solar cells were obtained with the structure Glass/Mo/CFTS/CdS/i-Zn O/AZO/Al to investigate the performance of cells.All the parameters were increased distinctly with the incorporation of alkali metal ions.
