Metal halides evoke much interest from researchers due to their abundant stru-ctural chemistry and potential applications in the domains of photoluminescence,semiconductors,and phase transition materials.In this paper,we lead 2,4,6-tris(4-p yridyl)-1,3,5-triazine into the copper(I)/lead(II)halide systems,building a series of new and different metal halides.And we determined them by IR,PXRD,et al.Our work is mainly focused on:1.The research status of metal halides system in recent years and its further development,especially the research of copper halide with rich structure and lead halide system with excellent property as well as the latest development is briefly summarized.In the end,the rese-arch significance of the metal halide topic is in-troduced.2.As a large family of organic amine,multy pyridyl organic amine has a strong ?bond,can transfer electrones and energy,excellently,and it also present a variety of coordination modes in different ph system.We lead TPT into metal halides,built numbers of single copper(I)/lead(II)metal halides.On this basis,three series of halide frame materials are successfully systhesized:[Me3TPT][Cu5I8](3-1),[Et3TPT][Cu5I8](3-2),[Me3TPT][Cu5Br8](3-3),[Me3TPT]2[Cu12I18](3-4),[Me3TPT]2[Pb9I24](3-5),[Me3TPT]2[Pb3Cl12]·(H20)6(3-6),[Me3TPT]2[Pb3Br12]·(H20)6(3-7),[Me3TPT][Pb3Br9](3-8),[Me3TPT][Pb3CuI10](4-1),[Me2TPT]2[Pb5Cu2I16](4-2),[MeTPT]2[Pb3Cu6I14](4-3)Compounds 3-1 to 3-4 are copper iodide frame,confirmed flexible coordination numbers of metals ions and halides.Compound 3-1 to 3-3 have narrow band gap,and they all have perfect photodegreation organic performsnce of dyes.Compound 3-4 is a novel 3D inorganic cuprous iodide framework,it bearing chiral cuprous iodide chains as building units and is the first 3D extended framework with the TPT-derivatives as template.It is one of the few in halide framework high-dimensional compounds templated by bulky rigid organic amine molecules.Compounds 3-5 to 3-8 are low-dimensional lead(II)halides,in situ generated tripyridine-derivatives as countercations,prevented further extension of the anionic framework.Compounds 4-1 to 4-3 are three heterometallic iodides,synthesised based on the several single metal framework,they used and developed the in situ N-methylation method.Compound 4-1 displays a chain structure with the Cu-I-Pb units.Negative charge is balanced by the cationic Me3TPT3+.Compound 4-2 exhibits a layered structure,in which the Pb-I chains are connected by the dimeric Cue units.The inorganic layer is balanced by the cationic Me2TPT2+ motifs via coordination to the intralayer Cu(I)ions.Compound 4-3 shows a 3D hybrid framework structure,in which the inorganic heterometallic iodide layer featuring an 18-membered ring is composed of the strict arrangements of trimeric Pb3 units and hexameric Cu6 units.The adjacent inorganic layer is further connected by MeTPT+ linkers to form the resulting 3D hybrid framework.This paper studied the influence of organic template in copper(I)/lead(II)metal halides,obtained a series of valuable compounds.They enriches the content of metal halide material and provides experience for the synthesis of new materials.
