The experiment on condensed explosive detonation has been widely studied.In consideration of reducing experimental cost and uncertainty,the numerical simulation methods have been increasedly welcomed.The analytical solution can be produced by the numerical simulation methods.A direct numerical simulation of detonation propagation in condensed explosives on unstructured grids in this thesis has been researched.In order to obtain a better numerical simulation result,a direct numerical simulation model of detonation wave propagation process has been established in this paper.The establishment of the model can help the future work on the condensed explosive detonation wave under different types of state equation through direct numerical simulation research,the finite volume method and unstructured mesh reconstruction method is advantageous to the complicated geometrical area on direct numerical simulations of detonation wave propagation.In this paper,we obtained the detonation wave front positions at different times by solving the two-dimensional reaction Euler equations,and the distribution characteristics of the original variables in the flow region are discussed.Numerical simulation results have revealed that the finite volume method of semi-discrete control equations is applicable under the unstructured grid,and the condensation of insensitive explosive detonation wave front has been successfully captured,the wave front is similar to experimental observation of the detonation wave front.The numerical solution of ZND model is developed with 2mm reaction scale,the wave front which called Von Neumann peak has the reaction rate ?=0 and the reaction zone along the CJ front is set by ?=1,.The chosen initial conditions can meet the requirements of the model.In addition,the finite volume diffusion scheme is applied to the unstructured grid,and the finite volume method is given to solve the discrete process of Ut.In this paper,A direct numerical simulation of detonation propagation in condensed explosives on unstructured grids has been studied.And the detailed derivation of relevant equations has been shown in appendix.The detonation shock front has been successfully captured through the algorithm which is based on the reaction Euler equation.All the work which have been accomplished in this thesis is meaningful to the future work on more complex simulation of detonation propagation in condensed explosives.
